day 6: Visit the Altiplano
You will cross the great landscapes of the Andean high plateaus, making several stops at different sites of interest.
This stage takes us to Andahuaylillas. This small village is famous for its early 17th century church, known as the "Sistine Chapel of South America"thanks to the frescoes and paintings that decorate it, but also for its golden altar.
Then you will, visit of the site of Raqchi where the Inca temple of Wiracocha, the creator god, is located. This temple was a major administrative and religious center. Its impressive dimensions and its geographical situation suggests that it was a center intended to store the food for the pilgrims going to Cusco, located at the crossroads between two great regions.

You will then stop at the Raya pass, where oxygen will be scarcer due to the altitude (4335 meters) at which you are. You will discover the majestic Cordillera Real, in the heart of the South American mountain range.
You will finally discover the lithic museum of Pucara, which retraces the evolution of the Andean peoples from the first men to the Incas.
