day 1: Sajama National Park
On the way, stop for the external visit of the church of Calamarka.
Arrival in Patacamaya (one hundred and one in the local language), a village located 101 kilometers from La Paz.
You will continue the journey by the transoceanic road in the direction of the Sájama National Reserve; in the distance we can see the peaks of the volcanic cordillera and the majestic Sájama volcano.
On the way, it is possible to visit the church of Curahuara de Carangas.
Arrival at the village of Sájama.
You will visit the Queñua forest (Andean shrub), one of the highest in the world; possibility of swimming in the natural hot water pool, in the heart of a privileged natural setting.
Short hike to observe the fauna of the altiplano and enjoy the tranquility of the place. Walking, it is possible to reach the small village of Tomarapi, with its splendid colonial church, whose presence gives the village the appearance of a sanctuary.
