Sajama

Sajama village is the departure point to explore the natural park but the village in itself has some interests as well. The nice church, surrounded by massive snowy peaks, can create very beautiful pictures. A little bit under the village, surrounded by Payachatas Mountains (the twin sisters), runs a small river. Before to arrive at the village, along the road, look for the pre-Colombian graves, those stone towers called ch’ullpas.
