Tomarapi

At about 15 km from Sajama village, Tomarapi has an Eco lodge, one of the first made with this kind of construction, and still the only one today from its responsible management of natural resources. This edifice allowed to encourage local activity and gives work to inhabitants from different localities of the region. This Eco lodge represents then the great achievement of a project that has been well-led, from the beginning till the end. Tomarapi is also known for its church, one of the first built on the South-American continent.
