day 4: Hiking Cochahuasi - Patabamba
Transfer from your hotel to the bus terminal and departure from Cusco accompanied by your guide to the start of the hike on the road between Cusco and Pisac (Cochahuasi - 3,250 m, 25 minutes drive) by local bus to live a unique experience in total immersion.
During your hike you will pass through cultivated fields where beans and potatoes grow.
You will go up to the pass of Patabamba (3900 m) and then go down to the village of Patabamba where you will be welcomed in the afternoon by a family of the village.

Lunch included in the family in Patabamba.
Day of sharing to discover the techniques of weaving and the life of the fields.
You will go to the surroundings of the village to look for the plants and minerals used for the natural dyes.
Then workshops will be set up with the various stages of the weaving process: the treatment and spinning of llama and Alpaca wool, the coloring with natural elements, and of course the weaving. You will be able to not only observe but also participate in these workshops.
Typical Pachamanca dinner, where an artisanal oven made of large stones heated by wood fire is built, which is then collapsed to cook meat and vegetables.
