This is one of the numerous convents of the city, and the main religious edifice of the 18th century, in all Bolivia. The edifice is amazing from its size and conception; its construction reflects a “Triumph Arch” with 5 windows, 32 columns and 3 cupulas. For the period, this edifice is the symbol of the wonder of engineering, financed as it was common in the region by benefactors, wishing to receive divine favors.
