Samaipata

On the road between Sucre and Santa Cruz, Samaipata is the southern gateway to the Amboró Park. Small village at the exit of the Andes, but still at 1800 meters of Altitude, it presents, besides its proximity with the tropical and primary forest of Amboró, an interesting archeological site. This ancient pre-Hispanic fort is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and still retains many mysteries.
