Palace Los Portales

Built by Simon Patiño, King of tin at the golden age of mines, in this luxurious house (never inhabited!), French style is king. The main interest of the Palacio de los Portales stands in the cultural center into which it has been transformed (exhibitions and concerts are regular, and the pedagogic center is interesting), and the wonderful garden ending with the visit of the site. Opening hours for the palace (guided visit every 30min): from Tuesday to Friday, from 3.30pm to 6 pm. On Saturday, from 9.30am to 11.30am. On Sunday, at 11 and 11.30am only. Opening hours for the gardens: from Tuesday to Friday, from 3 pm to 6.30pm. On Saturday and Sunday, from 9.30am to 11.30am.
