The site of Cal Orck’o is located at about 10 km from the center of Sucre. In 1994, employees of the factory of cement discovered a huge wall presenting thousands of prints. After numerous studies, scientists declared that when they discovered the prints, at least 150 dinosaurs’ species were represented. Today, it is possible to admire this vertical wall, inlaid of millions of footprints, and also, a kind of Attraction Park, with large-scale reproductions of dinosaurs. It is also possible to observe it with binoculars from the belvedere built for visitors. Weathering erosion endangers the wall and for this reason, the government is thinking of making a reproduction with silicone. Opening hours: from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
