Tupiza

Close to the border with Argentina, and in the south of Potosi, Tupiza is a very charming town. This is the other entrance door to Uyuni Salar. The city is more interesting for its surrounding country rather than its city-center. Different markets take place from the early morning and according to the day (peasant market, trade fairs, black marketer…). But rides around the city are so much more attractive; riding a horse, a bike or walking, the rocky landscape with surprising colors are waiting for you, plenty of giant cactus and valleys with dried rivers.
