Trinidad

In the eastern part of the Amazon rainforest, capital of Beni, Trinidad was the place where the Moxo civilization developed itself before declining. At a period, this civilization created impressive technics in order to adapt to an environment which is characterized by important annual flooding and an important warm that makes the physical effort difficult. Today, Trinidad is one of the few entrance doors to Amazon. In opposition with Rurrenabaque, Trinidad doesn’t have many touristic structures (travel agency, hotel, restaurant…). And on the other side, its proximity with Chuchini, Moxo archaeological site at the beginning of Amazon, makes very difficult to visit these untouched territories, as well as to discover its amazing biodiversity.
