The island of the moon or Koati Island

It is on this small island that took roots several legends connected with the birth of the Inca civilization. Some archaeological ruins testify a moment of this History; vestiges of the Temple of Nustas (virgins of the sun), inside an amphitheater, Sampaya’s village, and pre-Hispanic, kept untouched…. The trek constitutes one of the main activities of this small island, perfect for the walk. Surrounded by calm waters and wonderful snowy peaks of the Royal Cordillera, the landscape offers some magical moments.
