San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro de Atacama is a municipality in the province of El Loa in the Antofagasta region of Chile. It is a desert and luminous region which is located 1700km away from Santiago. San Pedro de Atacama is the gateway to one of the largest and most arid deserts in the world, the Atacama Desert. It is possible to make different excursions around the village. All the sites are located between 2500 and 4400 meters above sea level, such as the Tatio Geysers and the Altiplanic Lagoons among others. Much more if you count the numerous volcanoes.
