Salar de Coipasa

Separated from the Salar of Uyuni by a few ten kilometers, the huge extension of salt covering more than 2000 km² is as charming as its most famous twin but the access is more difficult. Only a small village, that gave its name to the desert, exists in the region, on a small island in the heart of the Salar. Isolated but wonderful because Coipasa village is built almost exclusively with salt, an untouched white color. Inhabitants live only thanks to salt exploitation.
