Paracas

About twenty kilometres from Pisco, the small village of Paracas is surrounded by beaches, palm trees, quiet restaurants rocked by the breeze and shell stands. But it is especially for the natural park of its peninsula that one comes to Paracas. The combination of desert and sea has allowed thousands of species to flourish in a beautiful environment: fish, birds, mammals... The park also contains incredible archaeological finds of the civilization of the same name as the city (ceramics, pottery, etc.), as well as ruins dating back more than 5000 years!
