Pantanal

This Bolivian Pantanal is only the part present in Bolivia considering that the Pantanal is divided into Brazil, Paraguay, and Bolivia, filling a surface area of almost 31.898,88 km². The Bolivian Pantanal has a massive ecological importance for the reason that it is a highly complex and temporarily dynamic mosaic of lakes, lagoons, swamps, rivers, palm groves, dry and closed woods, an essential source for Paraguay’s rivers, and this is the place where a huge and surprising quantity of vegetal species, fishes, birds, and large mammals are living.
