National reserve Eduardo Avaroa

Created in 1973, this reserve begins close to the Colored Lagoon (Laguna Colorada) and is on average located at 4300m height. Among the ends they gave to it, the main one is to protect two camelid species; vicuña and yareta (llareta in Spanish), as well as the different ecosystems on which it depends, and several other species.
