Museum of Precious Metals

This museum preserves silverware pieces and ceramics coming from pre-Hispanic cultures. Among the golden pieces, we can mention diadems, pectorals, necklets, and ornaments used to dress Inca emperors. The room of silver pieces presents ceremonial objects from Aymara, Moyo, Wankarani, Chiripa, Tiwanaku and Inca’s cultures. All these things belonged to a private collection that has been given to the museum. Opening hours: from Tuesday to Friday, from 9 am to 12.30pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am to 1 pm.
