Museum of music instruments

The passion of a Bolivian musician, Ernesto Cavour led the municipal authorities to formalize the museum through archives coming from the municipality of the city. Indeed, Cavour opened this museum in his own house in 1962, before than authorities enforced to give the house where it is now. A collection of musical instruments is presented in a cabinet, several fun exercises will allow you to try some instruments. For the moment, the museum has 6 rooms, but they are thinking about opening more in order to create space for the 150 instruments that are still waiting to be exposed. The house in which there is the museum is open on Jaén Street, in the heart of the colonial district, which offers a wonderful context perfect for Art. Opening hours: from Monday to Sunday, from 9 am to 6.30pm.
