Cala cala

At 15km in the South-East of Oruro, this small place is at 30 minutes walking from the village of Calacala, crossing a pleasant valley. There are cave paintings, drawn directly on the rocks, dating from the first millennium of our era. It represents llamas in red and ocher, humans in white or black… From the site, the view is wonderful. Despite the lack of information concerning the paintings’ signification, this walk is refreshing and interesting.
